PRYC incorporated as a ‘not for profit’ Association in 2009.

Paradise Radio Yacht Club is one of three registered RC yacht clubs in the Gold Coast region.

PRYC currently has 83 active members in five different yacht classes, racing over six days per week throughout the year. Most classes race two days per week.

There are currently 29 IOM skippers, 9 10R yachtsmen, 21 International RC Lasers sailors, 34  Dragon Force 65 owners and 18 DF95 in the club.

  • 2016 (April) RG65 Dragon Force Challenge. A one-day event involving some 26 competitors from five different Queensland clubs. - report

  • 2014 Australian National RC International Laser Championship hosted by PRYC.

  • 2014 Queensland State IOM Championship. A two-day event involving some 52 competitors including interstate and international skippers.

  • show2013 Australian ARYA National Championship involving four separate classes was held over thirteen days. Hosted by the QRYA and PRYC, it attracted a very strong field of 115 competitors from all States and New Zealand.
