After four years of effort by dedicated PRYC representatives, club members were excited to read about Emerald Lakes Parklands development commitments including four "landing platforms" for use by PRYC. City of Gold Coast Division 8 Councillor Bob La Castra confirmed this in writing in his November update to residents.

Another year of the Back Page Bar Trophy handicap regatta was celebrated in good form with competitors and 2019 winners from each fleet gathered around our 10R Fleet winner, Vice Commodore Ross Kapper. Ross not only got to have his name engraved on the trophy but was the recipient of a new titanium knee implant to commemorate the occasion.
